I stood beside the ocean
And asked the restless wave–
To what eternal troubling,
To what quest are you slave?
With orient pearls by thousands
Your mantle’s edges shine,
But is there in your bosom

Many times I wonder, many times I fear.
Too many times I pondered ‘why am I here?’.
I prayed to God and He will answer me in time.
But many times, waiting feels like a crime.
As I watch people come in and out of my life.
But, I wonder am I living a good life?
I so surely treasure my moments ALONE.
But I do not wish to end up like anyone’s clone.
Love is what life has to offer
Love is one thing I seek to relieve many burdens
I seek and I’ve found, I sought after and I got laughter.
But what do I seek most in this life?
Is to live and to learn and be as one with the Lord and Savior.
Greatness is one who serves and one who gives
But what is life if it isn’t lived?

For some odd reason these sher’s which i wrote a while ago keeps coming to my mind ! Thought it would be nice to share with you guys ….If you cant Understand Urdu, This is not for you because there will be no sense in translating this in English…URDU HAS ITS OWN FLAVOR…ENJOY !

Reza-reza hoke kitni door tak bikhra hoon —–

Dukh to hona tha tere haath se jo toota hoon—–

Usi par ikhtiyaar apna hain jo hian apne paas—

Sari duniya sub tamashi hain sach kheta hoon —

I think Love is the most misused / confused concept of our times.
Love is not “Getting”. Love is “Giving”.
When it is ONLY getting , wanting , demanding , dictating , it is lust not love.
Love is focussed on “giving” .
Giving time, attention, ears, empathy, encouragement.
Love is Freedom , not a jail .
True Love is giving , empowering and enabling.
It is that invisible thread which brings
A bird from far & high skies , right back to its little nest
